Safety is critical for the integrity of the judicial system. Judicial employees need to know how to prevent and manage threats in and out of the courtroom. This seminar addresses the impact that terrorism and the drug trade have on the security of judiciary employees and the courts. The seminar outlines trends in crime, profiles the perpetrators, and presents safety strategies and defensive tactics. Participants learn to prevent critical incidents in the courtroom and how to react if they occur. Resources for evaluating and improving the overall security of courts is also provided.
